Located about a mile from Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello, on one side, and the same distance from James Monroe's home, Ashlawn-Highland, on the other, the church building is only a short distance from the city of Charlottesville.
The faithful have worshipped here for over a century. Recent growth in numbers has not diminished the intimate atmosphere. As a church of fewer than 100 members, we believe that spiritual growth and Christian witness flourish in a small congregation.
The norm for Sunday worship is Holy Eucharist, Rite II from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. Our style could be described as 'traditional'; most people familiar with liturgical worship feel 'at home' in our service.
